our mission
Encore Youth Productions and Revolve Dance Alliance bring dance, music, and theater to children across Central New York with a strong emphasis on access, equity, and opportunity. This collaborative arts space will directly benefit CNY students by expanding access to arts education, providing a safe and inspiring creative environment, and fostering community connection. In the long term, it will strengthen artistic pathways, support youth development, and build a more inclusive arts community where every student has the opportunity to grow and thrive.
a collaborative arts space
Amanda and Amy, both proud Central New York natives, came together with a shared vision to create a collaborative performance arts space that brings dance and theater under one roof. By uniting their organizations, they’re building a community where movement and storytelling strengthen one another, giving students the chance to learn across disciplines and perform together in new, exciting ways. This shared space not only expands creative opportunities, but also models teamwork, connection, and the power of collaboration for the next generation of artists.
Encore Youth Productions
Encore Youth Productions is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of young people in the Syracuse area through learning, experiencing, and creating theatre. We provide all students an opportunity to develop their confidence, character, and creativity in a safe, accepting environment while simultaneously deepening the community’s appreciation of the arts.
revolve dance alliance
Revolve Dance Alliance is a dance studio bringing professional caliber dance education to dancers in Central New York. We exist to provide a new perspective on the old model of dance studio education, seeing students as humans first and striving to provide them with individualized attention so they can be free to explore and grow into themselves as both artists and individuals.

Revolve has always been a home away from home. Coming in after many years of dancing to a new space was scary, I was unsure of even continuing to dance but then Revolve gave me a second chance at becoming the best dancer I could be. I knew that walking into the studio no matter what was happening in my personal life I would go to the studio and everything would be okay. They train you to be a professional in all aspects of life both on and off stage. My favorite memories will always be within those four walls, and I hope many others will also say the same. I am proud to say I am a Revolve alum and hope that many make the choice to dance at this studio because it is the best choice for your dancers' education.

Doing theatre with Encore Youth Productions is so much more than being on stage. Every show I’ve made amazing friends from all different communities. Through the years I’ve gained lots of confidence and public speaking skills and I love the challenge of always improving. Ms. Currier and Mrs. Nickels have always been so supportive and kind to everyone in the program. They create such a safe and welcoming environment for all young performers to learn and grow.

Encore Youth Productions has been the foundation of my acting career, shaping both my craft and my character. Performing young taught me authenticity, clarity, and boundless energy. The skills I learned through EYP are something I carry with me in every production I take on — I would not be where I am today without it. I currently study Film/Visual Performing Arts at Le Moyne College and recently performed in BTG Community Theatre’s production of Hair. The skills I gained through EYP carry into every production I take on. As I prepare to audition for my first regional show and build connections with local directors, I know I wouldn’t be where I am today without EYP.

From the moment Eliza stepped on stage with Encore Youth Productions, she fell in love with theater. The music, the stories, the dances, the acting, the community building, the friendships. All things there are so good for the soul. The staff at EYP have created a space that is fun, exciting and inclusive. Being a part of one of their shows teaches confidence, teamwork, patience and more. EYP has grown over the years and their changes are always student centered. They provide opportunities for all ages and change their show genres to tap into everyone’s interests. Our daughter has learned so much about herself in the years she has performed on their stage and we couldn’t be more grateful.

My daughter Ryleigh has been dancing at Revolve Dance Alliance since she was just three years old. She is now seven, and the growth we’ve seen in her, especially in her confidence, has been nothing short of incredible. Before starting at Revolve, Ryleigh was tested for early intervention and required both occupational and physical therapy. After just six months of dancing at Revolve, she no longer needed those services. The strength, coordination, and body awareness she developed through dance made such a meaningful difference in her progress. Miss Amanda is not only an exceptional teacher, but a true mentor. She sees the potential in each child and nurtures it with patience, kindness, and high expectations. We are so grateful for the positive impact Miss Amanda and Revolve Dance Alliance has had on Ryleigh’s life. It has become a second home for us, a place where she is loved and cared for.

Revolve Dance Alliance has truly become a second home for my daughter, Aria. At just 10 years old, she made the decision to leave the studio she had been at for 6 years and come to Revolve. I will never forget sitting in a meeting with Amanda and Liv, listening to her tiny voice say that she wanted to go somewhere “they were nice to her and taught her how to dance.” I can easily say it was the best decision she’s ever made. I sat there and cried, realizing that THIS is what it felt like to be wholeheartedly supported by Aria’s dance teachers. In the last 4 years I have watched her fear and self-doubt slip away, slowly being replaced with confidence and renewed passion. Revolve Dance Alliance has created a support system she hopes to carry with her long after she graduates in a few years. Truly, thank you for giving us a home.
